My journey into advertising has been anything but traditional, and I wouldn’t change a thing. I landed my first advertising internship at Carhartt, in a role that didn’t exist until I sparked a conversation that led them to create one. That moment taught me that taking initiative and making connections are everything.
I originally pursued copywriting at VCU Brandcenter, but I quickly realized I was more excited about bringing everything together—aligning strategy, execution, and creativity to make ideas happen. That led me to pivot into project management, earning a certification and later enrolling in a Strategy Bootcamp at Miami Ad School to refine my approach to uncovering insights and developing impactful campaigns.
Along the way, I launched The Advertising Archives, a podcast where I broke down major ad campaigns—like several from Burger King. It was a way for me to dive deeper into the industry, analyze what made certain ads work, and share insights with others who are just as passionate about advertising.
Outside of work, I thrive on structure. My day starts with breathwork, cold plunges, workouts, and reading at a coffee shop before diving into work. It’s my way of staying focused and pushing myself—both mentally and physically. (Also, I just started boxing. So, if you see me with a black eye, don’t worry—I signed up for this.)
More than anything, I value real connections. I believe vulnerability creates stronger relationships, and I’ve seen how that openness fosters collaboration and personal growth. At the end of the day, I’m all about learning, evolving, and having fun along the way. And yes, that is a fake mustache. Gotta keep things interesting.
